Kitchen cabinet molding comes in many different sizes and types.
If you have crown molding you d like to use around the ceiling you ll need to leave space for it. A 42 48 cabinet with crown in the 4 5 range and 54 and up 5 7 range or stacked. A starter or riser molding is mounted to the cabinet top in order to simulate an extension of the cabinet box allowing the crown molding to be installed higher.
