I designed my new kitchen with the help of the home depot kitchen designer at the palm coast fl store on nov 10 2019.
Matte finish laminates bring a look of functionality and quiet elegance to a kitchen space. The greatest advantage of these laminates is that they have excellent resistance to scratches and dust which makes them easy to clean and relatively maintenance free. Matte finish laminate this laminate has moderate reflectiveness and a consistent standard finish. There it is my full year in review of the painted laminate kitchen cabinets with primer and without primer.
Cheap i painted two coats some areas three coats to all my cabinets minus the kitchen island and only used 3 4 a gallon. With that being said though you can expect to pay approximately 20 more than a laminate custom kitchen. Paint will scrape off fairly easily. The bottom cabinets were old and worn so we wanted the same cabinet styles and color to match the top cabinets and the exact same cabinets made new.
What i got was a contracted delivery date of 8 weeks instead of 5 6 weeks cabinets that did not fit the original size and color of cabinets that did not match the upper cabinets and they were lighter and in 3 different tones. Laminates are a composite artificial material commonly used on modular kitchen cabinets. I am posting this for new readers because it pops up when searching for kitchen cabinet reviews. Requires frequent touch up maintenance.

The laminates used in kitchen cabinets are pressed in factories using high pressure using automated machinery. Made by pressing together thin layers of flat paper and plastic resins the upper layer is printed with a decorative pattern or colour. I am having difficulty of choosing high pressure laminate cabinets or painted. I am in the mist of a kitchen renovation.
I recently purchased my cabinets there and just had them installed. Cliq studios is an company in michigan that sells high quality cabinets for much less than you can get in box stores etc. It is difficult to find real kitchen cabinet reviews on line. Laminate cabinets can be purchased in a variety of designs according to kitchen cabinet kings but real wood looks more natural.
