Kitchen cabinets we dare to say that our tall kitchen cabinets with their range of heights widths depths and colors fits in much any kitchen. Here s a view of the kitchen in las vegas from last fall before we removed the old countertop and cabinets and lowered the pony wall. Notice how only the lower cabinets are red and the uppers are light gray. Most commonly wall cabinets are 12 inches deep since this provides a good compromise between storage space in the cabinets and workable countertop space below the cabinet.
Above microwave ovens a 15 to 18 inch deep cabinet is common and above a refrigerator a 24 inch deep cabinet is standard. Instead of contrasting upper and lower kitchen cabinets try color blocking and leaving one wall of cabinets a single shade while switching things up on another wall. Lmk interiors save photo not every three toned cabinet design needs a primary color so feel free to stick with neutral tones especially in industrial and rustic designs. I think that is a fabulous way to incorporate some color without it being overbearing.
