What is the standard size of kitchen cabinet doors.
In standard kitchens the wall cabinets are typically 30 or 36 inches tall with the space above enclosed by soffits. For most everything else because of their storage height requirements a 30 36 high cabinets has two shelves in addition to the bottom of the cabinet and 42 high has three. Where the cabinets run all the way to the ceiling 48 inch cabinets are the logical choice. It s really no more complicated than that.
If the base cabinet features a drawer the door height below it the drawer is typically 24 inches. There are exceptions to every rule but that is what custom is about. If the cabinet is a full height base cabinet one that only includes a door the door is typically 30 inches tall. Notice that each shelf in the diagram is numbered.
