Press the tape pieces down. Work to slide frog tape under the moulding to prevent paint from getting on the floor. If needed apply more water displacing spray to the tape and continue rubbing. Either pull the remaining veneer off and apply a whole new sheet to the side of the cabinet or get new.
The veneer is riped and you will never be able to fix it. Rub the tape off the wood paneling with a damp cloth. Use a soft nylon scrub brush dipped in the soapy solution to scour the area where the adhesive hasn t lifted from the surface. Or is it all for show.
Clean the wood paneling with a sponge dampened in soapy water. How well does this actually work to keep moisture away. Thank you tile master. Wash the grease off the cabinet frames in the kitchen too.

Then stick tape in the hinge holes or where the hinges attach to keep out the paint. Or is it to keep you from dinging the finish. I have my first residential tile job coming up. Dry the paneling with a towel.
As you remove the stir stick wipe excess paint off on the inside rim of the paint can. Lightly sand the baseboards below the cabinets. Make sure all loose and chip paint is sanded smooth. With a sanding sponge roll it over and just sand the quarter round moulding.
Wash the front and the back of the doors and the drawer fronts to remove grease photo 1. To open the lid on the paint can use a slotted screwdriver to pry the lid off the can. Avoid sanding the floor. Easiest demo i ever did.
